Joy’s Wisdom

Doing what you love is the best medicine ever!

Do what you love

What would make YOU jump for JOY!?! In the midst of endless uncertainty and craziness, I notice that there are those humans who are creating lots of joy-ful (Yippee!), precious, priceless moments and having more fun than they could imagine. Sadly, others are not.

''The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word 'crisis.' One brush stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of the danger-but recognize the opportunity." (John F. Kennedy)

Crisis or Opportunity- it's a choice.
I overheard Kat sharing this nugget ... if you're waiting for things to go back to "normal," you'll be sorely disappointed AND you're missing out on this unexpected "opportunity" to transform your life. What are you choosing?

Now, back to doing what YOU love. What gives you the same thrill that I'm experiencing in the park? Perhaps it's something you put on the back burner because you were oh, so "busy" before the bleep hit the fan. Or, maybe it's something you're curious about and never made the time to explore. I love exploring ...it's exhilarating!

Even if you've not been trained as a "comfort human" you can make a difference. How could you help someone else who's not feeling the joy? Perhaps that's what will bring you even more joy! So, reach out.

"Sometimes you need a little crisis to get your adrenaline flowing and help you realize your potential." (Jeannette Walls,The Glass Castle)
