Kat's been so sad about how many have had to give their lives to save others during the pandemic and other crises. And for those who are putting their lives on the line, she is frustrated that they don't always have the support they need and deserve. You are her heroes! I know what it's like to be in choppy, unpredictable waters. But that's nothing compared to what you dive into every day. Whether as a comfort dog or first responder, it calls upon our better nature. When I'm on the look out for who might need my help it can be exhausting and exhilarating. For me, I know I need lots of extra love at the end of the day. Of course, I'm not afraid to ask for that. How about you? I often hear Kat saying to others, "You can't give out of an empty cup." I know she would want you to make sure you are taking care of YOU along the way. If you're not a first responder, what can you do to make sure they have the support they need? How can you be part of making the generosity of spirit and acts of kindness continue during this time of endless uncertainty. Kat's been pondering this thought ... *What if challenging times are just what we need to discover and own what's most important AND to make long overdue shifts - in our perspective, our possibilities and our priorities?* ## Related posts [![](https://resources.katosullivan.com/hs-fs/hubfs/More%20love.jpg?height=200&name=More%20love.jpg)](https://resources.katosullivan.com/words-of-wisdom-from-our-golden-retriever-joy/in-uncertain-times-its-the-simple-things-that-count) ## [In Uncertain times, it's the simple things that count!](https://resources.katosullivan.com/words-of-wisdom-from-our-golden-retriever-joy/in-uncertain-times-its-the-simple-things-that-count) [Kat O Sullivan](https://resources.katosullivan.com/words-of-wisdom-from-our-golden-retriever-joy/author/kat-o-sullivan) Jun 27, 2023 3:15:00 PM Now this is what brings me the greatest JOY!
